Features

The premium hatchback can be had in four trims: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha.

Propulsion duties are carried out by a 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine (90PS/113Nm), paired to a standard 5-speed manual and an optional 5-speed AMT. The engine gets idle-start/stop technology replacing the previously offered mild-hybrid tech. The manual has a claimed efficiency of 22.35kmpl, while that of the AMT is 22.94kmpl. An optional CNG kit is set to be introduced soon.

The Baleno packs segment-first features like a head-up display and 360-degree camera. Other equipment on offer comprises revised LED projector headlights, an Arkamys-tuned sound system, a reversing camera, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and cruise control. The list further includes auto climate control, push-button start/stop, and keyless entry.

Safety

Its safety kit includes up to six airbags, ESP (electronic stability control), hill hold assist, ISOFIX mounts, and ABS with EBD.
